And verily, there appeared a new forum dedicated to Steampunk, and it was very, very good. I can see spending many hours here!
Also, the coasters have multiplied. I think they're finished for now, but who knows for sure?
...than a steampunk movie hostess? According to her website, Doctor Desdemona Dust will be transmitting soon!
Long ago, when I was venturing out into the world of weblogs, one of my favorite sites was Brunching Shuttlecocks.
Things change, and Lore Sjöberg went on to other things, like Wired's Table of Malcontents column.
Recently, Lore moved on yet again, and I hadn't kept up with the Malcontents. I went to check on it today and found to my absolute delight that it's become a veritable steampunk haven, with links to sites like this Nautilus theatre room and much, much more. What's more, the authors (now a three-person team) have their own amazing individual steampunkesque sites. Eliza Gauger and Annalee Newitz, you've got my admiration, that's for certain.
The moral: Steampunk is inescapable. Thank goodness.
